Awaiting a 1st impression
@boostedis  No you missed the point. You expect the general public to know esoteric audio companies by name like they recognize Sony or Bose. It ain’t gonna happen. Maybe you are a newb, that’s the only way to explain your dismay. But you’ll get ...

Who gets the prize for build quality appearance? I, for one, have never liked the look of PL gear. That more than the MIC aspect has kept me from ever trying any of their stuff. @boostedis  If you haven't heard of Aesthetix gear, it's more yo...
Is an unbalanced preamp a bad thing?

How does the VPI Aries II stand up to current mid priced tables?
Confusing, yes! Thanks for all the replies and info. It looks like a Classic platter/bearing are in my future. Unless a used SDS pops up, that might be as far as I go.
$5K KUZMA TONEARM FOR ONLY $690! Gryphon Diablo for Only $699!
Might help if new members had to wait at least 30 days before posting....   I don’t think that would help. If your inclination is to be a low life, scamming piece of crap, 30 days won’t change that.

Well @wolfie62 , you seem to be Mr. Deep Pockets. But you also had this to say:   To get really good, satisfying, enjoyable vinyl playback needn’t be expensive.   I have 18 turntables, all legacy designs. I have 130 vintage cartridges. I have...

An Objective Review of the Tekton Double Impact Speakers
smoked the Tektons.  When I see phrases like this, or "blows away", I just shake my head and move on. Reads like something a 15 yr old would write. But, to each his own........
Butcher Block Acoustics
My former house had suspended floors and I had terrible footfall problems. The only way I got rid of them completely was with geoffkit’s Nimbus system with springs. He is a nut of sorts, but damn if that thing didn’t work. Footfalls were gone, abs...
