Klipsch La Scala replacement?
@outrider  I’d hardly call that a review.
Not sure what to think or do...
Who would buy either Klipsch or Wharfdale speakers in the first place.  Maybe for home theater.   What an asinine statement.
Klipsch La Scala replacement?
If you really like your Lascalas, most other designs will fall short of the performance horns bring to the table. I’d suggest taking a look at the Forte IV.
Preamp with two volume controls?
I thought SVS subs had remote volume control?
Potential upgrade path…
Room treatment can be a good thing. But you’ll never get decent performance from any system with the speakers less than five feet apart. Room treatment won’t solve that issue.
Potential upgrade path…
So sounds like your 35k would be better invested elsewhere. How about a super high end headphone rig?
Potential upgrade path…
If that’s the best you can do for speaker placement, you’d be wasting your money. Hate to be a party pooper, but that’s the way I see it.
Acoustic Suspension sound in 2020?

Pure Class-A Amp under $2000 (USED)
The Aegir will double power into four ohms when used as a stereo amp. As monoblocks, 80 watts into 8 ohms. Not recommended for a four ohm load as monos. The OP might get by with his 6 ohm SF, but I’d reach out to Schiit and ask.
Pure Class-A Amp under $2000 (USED)
I agree with the Aegir recommendation. However, you can only use them as monoblocks if the impedance is a nominal 8 ohms. Your speakers are 6 ohms so it’s not advisable.
3 Level, 40-44" wide, Well built for Isolation-Gear Stand-Where/Who?
https://butcherblockacoustics.com/   This is what I recommend.
Bad Cornwall IV?
Cornwalls deserve better than an Anthem digital processor. Look to tubes, therein lies your answer….
Bad Cornwall IV?
You call that an upgrade?
Lost it to Black Friday! Ordered it!
Just keep in mind that most integrated amps, especially budget models, use cheap alps pots for attenuation. This is a bottleneck for sound quality. The attenuator isn’t everything, but it’s a big thing.
Klipsch Speakers
Current Heritage Klipsch speakers are anything but bright. If these are giving you trouble, look to your room or associated equipment.
