Is Sub Gain Set&Forget Across Music Genres a Fallacy? After dialing in the powered subs on my Spatial X3s, I haven't touched a thing. Tight, tuneful and room filling bass is what I get. Sure, some recordings have more, some less. But it's never boomy or out of control. I just live with what's on the ...

Wilson Alexia 2 Any high powered receiver will do the job. Dave Wilson did a demo with a receiver to show that the speaker is what mattered. Yeah, a receiver will "do the job". A Prius will "do the job" too, but I'm not a fan for obvious reasons. But your prem...

Getting the most out of my Definitive Tech bp2000's Well you got a really good deal so I guess you should try to make them work.Everyone is trying to be helpful, but missing the mark. The big problem with those speakers is the powered subs. No matter where you place the speakers or how much you adj...
Getting the most out of my Definitive Tech bp2000's If you care about audio and not home theater, look for new speakers. I had the BP 2000s about 25 years ago and they were some of the worst speakers I have heard for two channel music. Great for car crashes, explosions and dinosaur stomps though.
Pure Audio Project open baffle speakers Sorry to say, but maybe you chose the wrong speaker.
