rookie drunk move
Tholt, Looks like you passed the test. We'll drink to you! I'm certain all is well with your "system", audio system, that is.Now, if I could just get Viridian to stop replaying his bawa stwiisand music- then he might spend less on the black tar.
Where do I learn more about audio stuff?
Get Robert Harley book- Guide to Home Stereo. Book title might be off, but close. This is a good start.
Who is this- Boxenkiller???
Mofimadness and Metralla, That must be it. The best I could describe the tune, Boxen Killer, is drums for about 2 minutes, then bass comes in. All VERY dynamic and well tuned. Kick drum is powerful and toms, snare, cymbals clearly distinguishable....

For an excelent DVD, a must see is "High and Lonesome". Wonderful historical documentery about the origins of Bluegrass with an emphasis on Bill Monroe.

You head for the blood bank when you see a "good deal".
Tired of Problems with Tube Equipment
May not be what you want to hear, but the Chinese elctronics- Primaluna is stable, self biasing, affordable plug and play. they also sound very good. I had no problems with these. It's hard to go from tubes to SS.Good luck
The day the music died.
Seditious, I read an interview with Lennon in which he said "the Beatles" is derived from the word "beat". They keep the beat. But his earlier band, The Silver Beatles, may have come from the Crickets. Lennon was definitely into Buddy's music. My ...
Stevie Wonder-As
Innervisions in my favorite. His tune "Visions" is so soulful and meaningful.Part of his "vision" has come true.
You know you're an audiophile if--
You read and fight on Audiogon threads more than you listen to music.
