@tomic601 I have 2 copies of the original release and they sound pretty good. But to answer your question, I have no idea. There have been over 5000 pressings. My guess would be the earlier the better.
A song of hope that I wrote.
Well done.
high output mc cartridge into vintage ARC sp-6 preamp?
Your table is not up to the job of making it worthwhile. Get a good MM. AT VM540ML or Nakaoka MP200. HOMC are not generally the preferred implimentation of MC which relies on short coil windings for lightness -hence the low voltage- and speed.
How do you sort your LPs?
Record store style bins. Genre: Jazz, blues, indy, rock, folk, classical, broadway. Artists grouped together. No alpha.

Uber, reminds me I should do some US cleaning of all the albums played tonight. I'm guilty of prefering to play them and endure less than quiet on a few.

Duke Ellington And His Orchestra ‎- Ellington At Newport (Columbia 1956 6eye)A classic. Notes indicate the crowd of over 7000 were wildly dancing on their seats forcing the police to signal to the Duke to stop.

Bill Evans - Living In The Crest Of A Wave (Elektra 1984)Immaculate recording. Sounds processed though. Full bass and detailed top. Anyone know if it's digital?
