Fuzzy distortion on vinyl........Stylus issue? You can upgrade to a Blue by replacing the stylus but not a Bronze as it has different innards. Put a few drops of 91% isopropyl alcohol on a Magic Eraser. Drop and raise the stylus (with the cue) into it a few times.
System problem Initially, it sounded like you may have blown a combination of the tweeter and/or the midrange resistor fuses in the speakers. But you say you can hear every driver. Then it can only be the power amps. Perhaps they throttle down when overdriven.
Whats on your turntable tonight? @tomic601 It's made me appreciate the 850L a lot more.
Whats on your turntable tonight? Maybe. Not unhappy! It didn't set me back much.
Whats on your turntable tonight? Played all the albums I played last week again on my old 850L tonearm. Always fun.
Whats on your turntable tonight? @slaw I’ve been running it in and today did serious testing by swapping arms. While the Jelco has some glare and is a little shouty compared to the WT clone, it is a lot more dynamic, faster, blacker and retrieves fine detail. C’est la vie.
Whats on your turntable tonight? Took the 12" Well Tempered clone off. Put the Jelco 850L back on.

Amp Speaker Pairing You might consider looking at the Tekton line of speakers. Ulfberht at $9k. And easier to drive.
