| $1000 bookshelf speakers with "recessed", "laid back" or "flat" mid-range? Don't laugh, but if you use the grills, tape some tissue paper to the inside blocking the tweeter. Start thin and add layers to suit. | |

| Went from brilliant to distortion Interesting. The moving upset things somehow. The 2 triode amplifying elements in each tube can be allocated to a channel each. The 802s are a different tube with lower gain but higher current. | |

| Went from brilliant to distortion Recheck your cabling and inputs/outputs. If it was me, I'd put everything back the way it was in the P10 system and see what happens. You are playing with too many variables. Ensure tubes are seated fully. | |
