Best tubes for Audio Note Cobra Integrated
The Cobra has some unusual preamp tubes. I’d leave the 6AU6 alone for the moment. You could try rolling the GE 5670 with Western Electric 396A. When power tube time comes, try new Tung Sol EL34B or 7581A.

This Mortal Coil – Filigree & Shadow (4AD 1986) Bought when released. Spent many nights with this on headphones. Still an old favorite.

Laurie Anderson – Home Of The Brave (Warner Bros. 1986) Replacement mint copy of this very weird album. I bought it when it came out and liked a couple of tracks. I destroyed it a few weeks ago with a heat gun. Great sound on a good rig.
