Townshend Pods - How many do I actually need per component for max effectiveness? Yes. Check my Virtual System. I have 3 Nobsounds on everything. The Townshends are reportedly somewhat better as they are more damped. I tried damping the Nobs but preferred them loaded to 30% with no damping. There are a few threads on the subjec...
Townshend Pods - How many do I actually need per component for max effectiveness? The 6 pound DAC might be too light as some compression is needed. You might try them under a heavier support. Have you tried Nobsound springs? They're a lot cheaper and work well.

Whats on your turntable tonight? Not sold on 45 rpm or 2 LP versions. I've 70s almost flexi-thin vinyl that sound incredible and 180 gram LPs that are noisy and dull. Give me an analog 50s/60s disk most days.
Best AMP for GE Triton Reference Speakers Never heard GoldenEar speakers sound good. I'd revisit your system after a serious rethink.
First tubes in 30 years Thanks for the info @jaytor . Just spent a few hours reading up on all that!
Whats on your turntable tonight? @jerryg123 +1 The The - Infected. What a cracking album. The bastard gave me tinnitus 20 years ago.
Whats on your turntable tonight? @tomic601 Good to hear you liked it. You have me wanting to give it another spin!
Grounding cable gauge size Because someone will pay it and they'll make a big profit. Then why is the Entreq Atlantis cable $1600?
First tubes in 30 years Nice. Transformer coupled? Heater kit boards?
Ceiling fan in listening room? Even if the tail is small and the happiness velocity minimal, the dander may present other issues outside the scope of this thread. So when my dog is wagging his tail does it effect the music waveform? |
