Technical Question About Powered Speakers
Don’t think of the wires as "positive" and "negative" but as a pair of wires through which the push and pull of the electromagnet signal "flows." The music signal is not a DC voltage.

Why the loading resistor? Plug the SUT into the MM input.  
What does Q mean in speaker specifications?
Not googling it for ya, but it’s to do with damping. Basically,  the lower the Q #, the less energy stored at resonance.
