Heard my friend's system, thinking of leaving hifi
With all the equipment I have purchased, the biggest bang for the buck was acoustic treatment. In order of priority for good sound, I would treat the room first, deal with speakers second. Unfortunately, most acoustic treatment, and really effecti...
Why use CD Transport instead of computer source
Are you guys comparing a transport to files on your hard drive, OR to music sent to the Squeezebox from the internet, from Rhapsody or some other source?
Brag About Your Vinyl Collection

I used to prefer Stereophile, but now I prefer Abosolute Sound. Their reviews are shorter and more to the point and they have FAR more music reviews.I still subscribe to both as Stereophile is so cheap ($10/yr) and I like reading Fremer & Dudl...
