DO CABLES REALLY MATTER?
@geoffkait  Having said that, just going on the photos of the Graphene Gold Rush Tonearm cables, I want some. Uh, Geoff, they do look cool but how are you going to hook them up to the walkman?

And for cradle type fuse holders, you can take a small orthodontic rubber band and wrap around the top of the holder at each end to apply a little pressure to the contacts.  You can also wrap a piece of Teflon tape around the glass body to dampen ...

@audiolabyrinth  What state of the art cable's have you tried? do you own any  state of the art cable's? Not sure, I have owned multiple cables retailing for over $1K each and some over $2K. There are always more expensive cables - who is the jud...

Recently received my Antipodes DX back with Gen 3 upgrade and it sounds great to me.  As previously, it displays none of the electronic haze/glare/thinness I have sometimes heard through other digital sources or players.  To further enhance things...

@oregonpapa @uberwaltz The knife cuts both ways, which is why this issue will never be sorted out. You are both correct, folks who believe the science will not support any change in sonics, or any perceivable change in sonics, related to fuses, wi...

@ricred1 "We" make audio too complicated.I agree with you, but if too many agree it will suck the fun out of these ridiculous threads....
DO CABLES REALLY MATTER?
When I zipped the Royal Gorge I had a high level of confidence in the cable but somewhat less confidence in the teenager that hooked up my harness....so I watched his work closely.  Thankfully, he was good at his job!

@michaelgreenaudio  Regardless of anyone's opinions about the changes, you guys are fortunate to have someone like Tammy, and the Agon staff, looking out for you.+1Good leaders don't let ego or fear stand in the way of correcting mistakes or maki...
DO CABLES REALLY MATTER?
The main reason cables matter is to promote the  eristical behavior of audiophiles.

Class D Ncore Atsah in the house
Not all that many others have done much with the stock NC1200 amplifier module.  David Reich at Theta used a LPS for his Prometheus monos and I believe Bel Canto designed buffers for the Black amps and also for amps they use with the much less exp...
