I have an ongoing lack of understanding about what piece of equipment in the following system, actually gives the music it’s final quality out to my speakers.Right. Well let me set you straight then. Every piece of equipment. Its that simple. Ever...
Moving cables around killed dynamics for days anyone else experience this?
The frequently wrong audiozenology writes:I have yet to have someone show me to be "frequently wrong". I stick to claim that I can support with evidence based in research, science, and engineering.Oh, really? Same guy:My "intuition" does not sugge...
Has anyone seen this...?
This same guy "interviewed" the Onkk Cue turntable designer in a hallway and spent the first 5 minutes making fun of his hair and Onkk Cue. His product "reviews" are one uninformed irrelevant comment after another, interspersed with what sounds li...

Best way to A / B test amps? Use a switch?
I believe that the mind forgets what it heard 5 mins ago and internal biases kick in strong.Yeah, my head was once stuffed full of this exact same nonsense. True story, I drove 200 miles to a store to compare interconnects just because they had th...

mijostyn-There goes that stylus jitter again. Millercarbon, can you name me one reviewer who uses a Sound Smith as his primary cartridge? You see the occasional Grado but I have never seen a Sound Smith. This is not to say they are a bad cartridge...

Strong bass causing buzzing behind the wall
Expansion is only a problem when there's nowhere to expand into. Duh.Which was covered in the original.Reading comprehension. Reasoning skills. Marvelous. Highly recommended.

My Koetsu Black Goldline goes through this every night. The first few minutes or so is a fairly big change, but it continues to improve clear across the first side and probably even longer, it just gets harder/less obvious as the rate of improveme...
Seeking tube amp advice
Your speakers are 91 dB, 4 ohm, and you're looking at tube amps. You do not need 100 wpc. 30 to 50 will do just fine. That opens up Raven, Prima Luna.
Something is missing

Strong bass causing buzzing behind the wall
I am a little concerned that pumping too much of the foam through a small hole might cause the drywall to bulge. Not a problem. The way that stuff works it comes out goopy and bubbly and expands. It doesn't push, just spreads out in all directions,...
Origin Live Arm in NYC Area
Neither allows for azimuth adjustment. Study the arms, study cartridge design, watch Ledermann explain in detail, you will see. The axis of rotation of these arms, neither one is anywhere close to parallel let alone coincident with the azimuth of ...
First Moving Coil (MC) Cartridge Acquisition
Good to hear. No complaints with my Koetsu. I'm in no hurry to replace it after just one year. Its not high, but its on the list. But not because of the Koetsu, but because of the Hyperion. I just get the feeling its in another league.

It gets tedious having to set the record straight like this, but I guess as long as the hearing impaired keep trotting out the same old same old then its only fair to keep skewering their lame stories. To wit:Your brain becomes "accustomed" to you...
