Synergistic Research mpc question
Thanks Millercarbon, It’s so refreshing to get such a thorough and helpful answer from someone who has first hand experience with SR products!!! I was expecting to get a lot of replies advising me to sell all my SR cables because there nothing...
Audioquest Blizzard vs Audioquest Hurricane Source
I suppose it is because the Thunder uses Lgc and psc copper where the Blizzard uses psc plus only... Yes. That is exactly what they want you to think.
Thinking to replace my phono
We are getting into preference here  Right. Which if you notice I avoided.
Loudness Button
I would have to conclude that if you feel the need for a loudness contour button in your system, something is amiss. I have no need for one in my system and the majority of my listening is done late at night at low volume. Just sayin Fletcher-Muns...
Thinking to replace my phono
millercarbon  in your opinion what is the weakest component in my setup? Well, that depends on your definition of component. In terms of big box name recognition components you are as tooblue said end game. In terms of what I call a component tho...
Badly recorded albums needing upgrading
I only want to spend that kind or resources on absolute favorite records. I am filling in the rock and roll and R&B portion of my record and CD collection of artists ranging from the Beatles up through the Sex Pistols. Are there any other...

Future of cables!
Good luck with that. It will stay because its not abusive, nor rude, and only trolling in the sense of tweaking people to think about something they find very uncomfortable, namely the way so many are misled about tech. Tech doesn't matter, for al...
List of plinth builders for Technics SP10 MK3
So now we know where the rain forest went, eh chakster? Lol!
DIY cables
Oh crap! Looking at my system pics I just realized there is one supposedly DIY cable in there. Which I totally forgot about because I didn't make it. I bought the sub used and the seller included a long gray rubber power cord which you can see goi...
DIY cables
OKAY MC what cables do you use. Cryogenically treated 4ga wire comes in the wall and is hard wired into the Medusa along with the dedicated ground and 110V AC that after going through the conditioner goes back into the wall and up and across the c...
Synergistic Research AC Master Coupler on all Components including Subs Over-Kill
Wow. So you pay big money for stuff that does nothing for you, and then advise others to do that too. Amazing! Well at least you're honest about it!  In practice of course simply finding these takes a while, meaning plenty of time to try them as t...
