Right. Frank and I are two of a very select small group who actually knows what they’re talking about. Based both on extensive use of the products as well as lots of nice long talks with the people involved in developing them. Frank already confir...
Off center (not bent!) stylus?
It certainly seems like every stylus is not perfectly parallel with the cantilever and always seems to lean ever so slightly to one side or another. Seems like new ones can be like this too. So I assume a bit of a lean is normal / not an issue. So...
Review of the SMARTractor and SMARTstylus
The question I have about this is that if you don’t have an arm with a perfect dimple to set the arm to pivot distance, can you ever really achieve maximum accuracy just eyeballing the pivot? Good question. I've got an even better one: does it ...
Off center (not bent!) stylus?
Actually that front view shows a cantilever cocked out to the right while the stylus is almost perfectly straight down. The cantilever is the long straight thing sticking out. The stylus is just the almost invisible bit on the very end of the can...
You Tube sound comparisons
Wish they would do shorter segments, ie. 15 seconds vs 15 seconds of same music section.  Makes it easier to compare. No, that is a crutch that makes it harder for you to learn HOW to compare!   That is exactly why I said, Don't focus on any one...
Which Speaker
Quality sound on a budget can be surprisingly good, you just have to go about it intelligently. Start by crossing off your list all speakers less than 92dB sensitivity. Because anything much lower than that and you will find it very hard- read EXP...
You Tube sound comparisons
Obviously what you hear is a far cry from the actual in the room sound. Still, if you listen after a while you can get a pretty good sense. Surprisingly good. I started with this Let There Be Sound! channel that helped me a lot buying my Koetsu Bl...
Perfect Path "Solutions" (PPS) eMat
Well said, mooncrikit, and thanks. Won’t do much good. You’re new so won’t know this but this site has a dedicated core of thread-wreckers. This is one the more despicable ones. We had one even worse and finally managed to banish him only to find ...
Copper, silver, or gold MC cartridge coils?
Gold is better. Its something like 90 times the price of silver. Also its much lower price volatility. The contrarian view however is the ratio reverts to more historic levels around 20, in which case silver rises more than gold. Granted we are ta...

Obviously I know What you know or do not know is one thing. What you write however is quite another. Based on what you just wrote, what theaudiotweak just said is patently objectively unambiguously true. You know nothing. Absolutely nothing. Worse...
What is the best speaker cable for Wilson Sabrina X?
Throw a dart.
FUSES, Finally!?
Two of the most closed-minded tin-eared "audiophiles" in the universe. Notice neither one of them will come out and say whether or not they are able to hear any differences, or evaluate when one thing is better than another. Instead they hide behi...
What are the odds......
What are the odds..........of making a really good sounding system better? That's a complete quote. If it is really good odds are it is very hard to make better. That's another one. If it gets better all the time chances are it may not have been...

Rel subwoofer high level connections with McIntosh integrated amp
Doesn't matter which taps are used. No reason to add another connection to the ones used for speakers. Doesn't matter, because all these high level input circuits use a resistor, typically 20k Ohms to 50k Ohms. That is why it doesn't "suck any pow...
