Why do people care what their speaker wants?
Yes of course. Everyone knows that stuff. Which is okay I guess when they’re ported. The ones that are sealed however, who cares? And don’t even get me going about the flat panel ones! The best get the horn on. Some of them really put out!
Newbie Can't Decide Which Tube Amp
Ordinarily I would say you don't need an amp you need speakers. But unlike some I am not a fanboy and actually read the info and so since you are already fine with 60 watts then that's not a problem and you should be fine with the Carver Crimson 2...
What is the Silliest Accessory You Have Ever Seen.
"Seeing is believing." Right. Moron. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBap_Lp-0ocWhy are audiophiles always making it harder than it needs to be? Take something utterly uncontroversial, turn it into War of the Worlds. Maybe everyone take a break, t...
Back to vinyl need phono stage help!
My choice in your price range is the Decware ZP3 https://www.decware.com/newsite/ZP3.htm  If your Hana output is high enough you might be able to get away with running it direct. They have some step-ups with a really cool infinitely adjustable loa...

Hegel fuse holder
Tweaks rule. My system is so tweaked out it would take pages just to list it all and the crazy part is it works so good I only want more. To get some idea, take what you've done, multiply by a hundred. https://youtu.be/zZcZ6eJoxeE?t=9   This will ...
Why do people care what their speaker wants?
What I mean is, people are always asking, "I have Wilson Sabrina, what cables should I get?" Or right now it's, "Speaker cable recommendation for Joseph audio perspectives2".   But when its not that, its someone asking, "What power cord should I g...
Hegel fuse holder
Orange will blow your mind. Not because the improvement will be so staggeringly huge. But because the fuse is so small its hard to believe it could make ANY difference at all! Witness all those around here who still don't believe it! Even after a ...
Perfect Path "Solutions" (PPS) eMat
What gives audio2design the right to diss any product he choses without listening to it on grounds of superior insights, however acquired? Shouldn‘t the Moderator intercede on this type of counterproductive behaviour? I for one am fed up. You’re n...
Off center (not bent!) stylus?
Wow. This is really sad. Why anyone wants to get into analog with so much screwy advice. Really. The tone arm pivots. That’s the whole point of bearings, to let the arm swing freely. Incredibly low friction. That is why the arm will swing towards ...
SPL Levels and Perceived Loudness
1) Why would this be true? Is there something about the area of the radiating speaker surface or size of the front of the speakers that somehow impacts how I perceive the same measured SPL volume? Is it because I am using pink noise to set levels?...
Review of the SMARTractor and SMARTstylus
MC, If you make an error locating the pivot point while setting P2S distance Right. Except we were talking overhang, which is different. But covered anyway by specifically saying, "overhang off by a millimeter or whatever." Clearly I’m talking ove...
Hegel fuse holder
Don't know what your Hegel uses, but there's only so many different designs. The trickiest are the tiny little ones with only a small slot you have to use a very small screwdriver to lever them open. The only image I could find on their website it...

I never wrote a post about a device i never experiment with, and after that ridiculizing all owners to be gullible people by principle like some ...This is INSULTING to many.... Exactly why I ask that the whole thread be removed. Its only reason f...
