Why wont speaker companies publish their measurements?
Don't know what you're talking about kenjit, Tekton publishes their speaker measurements. The Moab for example is 14x17x69.  Recently ordered some Townshend Podiums for them and so I checked and can verify the accuracy of those measurements.
Another dedicated line question
Consensus sucks. All you are gonna get is blather from a whole slew of guys who are only repeating other blather, and round and round it goes. One line is always better. Whether or not the normal ground or a separate earth ground is better you wil...
No Oasis For Dynamic Compression

Let go of the music
If the speaker is the strongest factor in sound reproduction, have you tried how it sounds without the power cords?

Raven Osprey with Spatial M3 Sapphires
Your speakers are 92dB and you don't crank it loud so no problem. Heck even if you do crank it you should still be okay. The extra ten watts by the way is negligible. In case you were thinking you need it, the difference is a little more than 1dB....
Tracking modern pop recordings with very loud bass
Can people’s Record players track it?Too funny. You wish, hope, pray for bass like mine.

tomstruck- millercarbon thanks for the photos have looked at them many of times Thanks, there is a lot to study but they are a good 6 months out of date. There is a point where you can learn so much and so many ways of getting even more out of you...
Recapping and Bias
First, if there's no bias adjustment then don't add one. Second, recapping will not affect bias. Bias is a voltage and caps don't affect voltage. Resistors do that. Not caps. Finally, when recapping you must use equal value, because otherwise you ...
What exactly is textural density??
the transducer was tracking the signal like a race car with fresh, sticky tires.Throwing up rock chips? One thing for sure, Erik is happy- found someone with worse prose.

Little over a year ago someone was like, "Miller you sure post a lot where's your system?" There was a bit of a implication there that I didn't care for. But thinking back it was a reasonable comment. We did after all have one here with no system...
A stupid question for which there's no sensible answer.
Can the elements in a complicated room cancel/balance themselves off so that it ends up being a good room for sound. For example, slanted, high wooden ceilings and wall-to-wall carpeting, and windows and absorbing furniture all seem as though they...
Input to subs
Maybe. But why make it harder than it has to be? The elegant solution is what I did, a simple 2 resistor mod to the amp. https://systems.audiogon.com/systems/8367 See picture #26.   Or if you don't want to change your amp then you can use the same...
Enquiring minds want to know
Not Blackhawk.  Reflection.    If you're gonna eavesdrop get it right.
Tube virgin looking for tube amp under $3k
Stretch for the Raven. It will be worth it. Forget tube rolling, you won't need it. Drool bucket, maybe, for when you hear how good it sounds. Decware is the only other one on your list I would even consider, and you ruled it out anyway, so Raven....
