Audio Aero Prima 24-bit/192kHz What Version?
I had a Prima years ago when there was only one version available and Audio Aero was a very populars manufacturer. When it died Audio aero was in a death spiral and after a few intermediate patch ups nothing more could be done. I loved the sound a...

Cables for biwiring
The idea that cables which are intended for bass should be thick is commonly practised. Just look at the AWG of subwoofer cables, they are usually fat as hoses, we all have seen this. I just don't get the novelty here or really any controversy as ...
Pilinius 9200 or Musical Fidelity A5 ?
I have heard some Hegel components and was impressed with their lack of SS shrillness ,stridence etc, and the smooth fullbalanced drequency extension they posessed. I could recommend them. I had a hard time getting my MF integrated to sound right ...
What should I upgrade next?
I am not a huge fan of B and W so now you know what I would change. Realistically speakers are so subjective that it might the least sense to you. You could always do the smart thing and save your money nfor a future need/desire.
Mark Levinson No31.5 laser beam
You Are lucky that it is a pro drive. The pro market products have a longer lifespan than home components. Many lasers are now exticnt and would require looking for an NOS part, always a daunting task.

The best point is that if your demise is weighing on you heavily. Then take the attutde that you can't take it with you. Thus my question if you are not going to go out buy the best system you can now, then when?? Go for it !If you live beyond 75 ...
Amplifier's age
With ERbay it is very much a hit or miss game. In my experience it has more misses. If you see one for sale here or other audio fan websites it is amost always a hit. I you do buy from Ebay never (almost never) buy as is as seen and demand a right...

Dear Moderator
That does sound like a slur calling Emotiva an alien invader and such. The truth is,however that they will have to leave Bob Carvers's amps pretty much as they are, if the Carver line will be successful. That is big beautiful and powerful small pr...

Now I am going to wonder what Vic said. That is irksome. If Boib's tube amp company was bought be Emotiva good for him I wish him all the success he can get. But what's this slur business ???
Dzurko Jaquar recommendations
I was curious enough to look them up. The most recent article appears to have been written 12 years ago. That doesn't make them bad or unworthy of a decent amp they were well liked at the time. The Impedance numbers would permit a variety of moder...

My old pal Trelja who is an Agon member might be able to help you as the former distrinutor. Is Grant Fidelity the current US distributor?
Orange DIVO VT1000 tube tester
It's a lot of money ($500) for the limited range of tubes it tests. For me it would have to measure 6SN7s and the 6DJ8-6922 family of tubes. I also see that it cant test 4 pin tubes. Others have noted that it doesn't test rectifiers otherwise they...
