How do you stop house guest from damaging your speakers?
Tasers might do it. Make sure gear is not in line of fire.
Proof of improvements in audio system sound quality....
Good sound is in the ear of the listener. Everybody has an opinion. Each recipe is what makes each audiophile special. So many recipes out there. Take your pick!  Which are special to you?
GLOW AMP
No but I heard the Amp 1 running small good quality monitors at a show a few years back and was impressed with the whole package:  sound, looks and value.
KEF's meta material gimmick?
I have both original and newer meta ls50s. Like them or not, the metas are the real deal as advertised. No BS. Plenty of that elsewhere. I love that! Size is their only limitation. Other newer meta models solve that problem as well but for additio...

Sounds nice.  Enjoy!

You can’t really draw a conclusion regarding how two services sound based on a tiny sample.  I mean you can of course but it does not hold much water.  Source material used for streaming varies case by case.  Try  a sound meter on them.  I find hi...

Cambridge CXN V2 or Innuos Pulse Mini?

Cambridge CXN V2 or Innuos Pulse Mini?
Many current Cambridge products are getting top grades in reviews, including that streamer.   I moved to an Evo 150 about a year ago and love it. Also learned some things along the way and found the reviews to be reliable indicators of what to ex...
Experience with Townshend Seismic Podiums on Concrete Floor (they're great)
@jtcf yes they work well and fit my beefed up bottom ported Ohm Walsh 2s with 8” driver that are 12” square at the base perfectly.  100 lb might be ok depending.   Probably not if spikes. Maybe Auralex publishes weight limits.
streaming and audiophile stereo
Bits are bits by design when transmitted on a computer network, but it’s when the digital data hits the DAC where things become interesting in regards to sound quality. There the bits undergo conversion to analogue. That’s where noise and jitter ...
Audiophile sound quality from a more "mainstream" company?
I’ve had a Cambridge Audio Evo 150 for about a year now. .  My assessment is  it is very competitive and  in the same league in all regards.
Speaker of My House…!
The 5XXX series ohm Walsh like the F5s I have run for a number of years now have 4 3 way level adjustments on each speaker including bass adjustments for room size and proximity to walls and corners.   So they are perfect to meet your variable roo...
50 years of Hip Hop- How Come?
