Best Male Singers of the 20th Century
I know a totally unknown local tenor in the Baltimore MD area who performs locally that has the purest tone of anyone I have ever heard that I can think of.
High End Tube Gear Transition to High End SS
Regardless of amplification technology used, a focus on coherency in the sound can yield great results for minimal cost.Ironically, often the less complex gear tends to be the most coherent sounding. ICs and speaker designs, especially in regards ...
Who here loves his/her Rogue Audio Integrated amp?
I've never heard a bad Rogue demo and have only positive impressions.
My audio rack is bright, will sand fill help?
Just a thought but whenever arranging or re-arranging components physically, particularly low level phono gear, be alert to any potential RFI or EM noise issues that could be introduced by something as simple as a power wire in a different locatio...
Speaker Cable for Meadowlark Kestrel 2
Those are very easy on the eyes!I have not used the DNM speaker wires but coherency is what the DNM ICs deliver in spades. Have you looked into Mapleshade? I recall their wires to follow a similar minimalist approach like DNM which seems to play w...

Triangle Titus might do well in a smaller room and won't set you back much, especially used. Only 90db or so sensitivity though.

Czar,Not a bad idea. I've seen some SET amp kits advertised. Haven't tried anything like that since building electronic kits as a kid, but if I could do it back then I probably could now. Did you have any particular kit/design in mind?
