Synergistic Red Fuse ... i finished going through all the product literature I brought home from CAF. Everyone makes superlative claims to help get their product attention. Why should fuses be any different. Heck I can afford a few of these fuses easier than most anything...
Synergistic Red Fuse ... I was at Capital Audiofest last week.No mention of fuses came up but the magnetic wire company that has a lot of fans here had a room.It sounded fine but no better than the others and certainly not best in show for me. I have not seen others in...
Corner Placement I am trying out my Triangle Titus monitors with corner placement for the first time. I like what I am hearing so far. More bass out of those known to be somewhat bass shy speakers. Big soundstage but not necessarily deep which may be a go...
Corner Placement WAlan, but I am trying to understand what constitutes a speaker designed for corner placement?Corner placement tends to enhance bass. That’s the only thing I can think of. So the speaker is designed to sound right with that corner bass boost and m...
Why are so many companies like harbeth making old speakers designs and charging thousends? There were some Harbeths in a room at CAF. Jeff Rowlands Amp and Dac vs. VAC amp and DAC Rinpoche, You've tested out the waters pretty well. Not much else to do now but enjoy.
Loudspeakers have we really made that much progress since the 1930s? I think the bottom line is loudspeaker technology has improved considerably over the years as is the case with most any active technology over time and that there is more possible today than ever before and many more choices for top notch performa...

Capital Audio Fest 2016 I really only heard the big Voxativ custom speakers briefly, enough to determine they were doing some very good and unique things and that I liked them and thought they had potential.Very cool and impressive but too big for anything I am ever like...
Jeff Rowlands Amp and Dac vs. VAC amp and DAC Its never a good idea usually to dive right into the deep end when swimming or buying, especially with consumer electronics where there are so many options both good and bad at so many price points. One almost owes it to themselves to try something...
