The premium  Tekton Double Impacts sounded very good running off 10 watt Linear Tube Audio amp. I spent a good amount of time listening there. Very weighty and dynamic wiith good detail and imaging. One of the more enjoyable listens of the day for...
Capitol Audio Fest
Was there on Saturday. German Physiks was best room of show for me. Lots of good sounding rooms. Got to at least briefly sample most. Came home with a good deal on a Chord Mojo portable DAC.   Also heard  ATC Harbeth and Tekton for the  first time.

Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
The Mojo sucks me in and makes me smile every time.   Have only used with headphones so far.  Seems to bring out the best in most everything.  Will try in my main system soon.
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?

What was the first system you heard that made you think the high end made sense
1978 Klipsch setup of some sort coincidentally at G&T (Groove and Tube) dealer in Lancaster PA playing Fleetwood Mac Fleetwood Mac album.    They also had a Magnepan Tympani setup that also impressed me.  I never heard the term hi end until ma...
