The latest affordable Klipsch stand mount monitors have been getting a lot of consistent praise. Can’t be that bad.....My Klipsch sub works great.
Whats playing on your system today?
I’ve been streaming random play from a friend’s remote Plex music server.  Also checked out the new Abbey Road there.
Unintended Consequences? Digital Streaming
If your setup is more revealing most likely you are just hearing compression that is part of the recording.
What does the term "Speed" mean in a speaker?

I am Looking for That Elusive 3 Dimensional Room Filling Soundstage
Well you may hate to but you just did. From a technical perspective, streaming is a much more robust process than reading data of an optical disk (CD) in real time. All my CDs get ripped first right up front then streamed. Even off my smart phone i...
Something For The Fuse Guys ...
Being a written forum loaded with evidence, I’d leave it to the humble reader to determine where ignorance may lie.
I am Looking for That Elusive 3 Dimensional Room Filling Soundstage
The other thing to consider is how big of a sweet spot or zone do you need for that sound stage and imaging? Choices are much more limited for that.
Something For The Fuse Guys ...
Ignorance is bliss.
How many amps do you own?
I just picked up 4 new ones a couple weeks back. Two in each Vanatoo Transparent One Encore speaker.
