Harbeth 30.1 or 40.1
Yea I have heard both spatial and Harbeth 40.1 and presentation is much different but both were very good with midrange when I heard them. I’d be Very careful judging solely on You Tube.
Harbeth 30.1 or 40.1
40.1 seem designed for larger rooms and yes far out from walls. I’d start with the smaller Harbeths in that room.Buy used and don’t overpay or buy new with return policy if you want to keep your options open.
Footers under my speakers double the perceived value of my speakers!
Fat or muddy bass obscures detail in the midrange which then also negatively affects imaging. Very common with suspended plywood floors. Isolation helps clean that up. I use Auralex Subdude iso pads under my floorstanders and the difference is muc...
Is there a magic formula for spending on components in a system
Try this to assess the sound in lieu of measurement gear: https://ohmspeaker.com/news/thinking-outside-the-box-listening-outside-the-room-or-the-bouncing-sound/
Is there a magic formula for spending on components in a system
It is true that, all else aside, it will cost more to get extended quality bass and quite a bit more for that in a large room compared to small. That is because the amp and speakers both must work much harder to deliver extended bass and even more ...

If you care enough to pay any attention to this thread then by G-d you are an audiophile.   Just accept it.

There is no magic formula but if you want someone else with expertise to determine it for you consider an integrated device that you can just add most any speakers to. A good example is the Bel Canto c5i which has high end sound and everything mos...
Why perfect speakers dont exist the truth revealed
How would anyone know if they are the perfect speakers if they have not been built? Well, this is the theory that Kenjit has, and what it is to....I suppose.
You know you are an Audiophile when:
I would not claim to be an audiophile in the strictest sense of the word but the fact that I have speakers in almost every room of my house would seem to indicate otherwise.
Anybody want a laugh?
I think that when spending beaucoup bucks on a hifi, people figure a couple hundred extra on a router with noise management as a design focus, regardless of actual merit, is not a big deal. An insurance policy at worst. Again, there are some I kno...

Less talk, more action. But I won’t keep my fingers crossed.
Why perfect speakers dont exist the truth revealed
Ok so let him build it. Then we can talk.
Why perfect speakers dont exist the truth revealed
Build it and listen and you will find out.

Hey look people seem to find trolling nonsense like this entertaining. You go Kenjit! You’ve found a captive audience. 👏👏👏
