Can the need for novelty and change be mitigated by rotation?
Perhaps but the biggest trick in getting good sound is always how one applies the room. No two ever sound exactly the same. Variety is the spice of life.  Nothing wrong with a little “novelty and change”.
Can the need for novelty and change be mitigated by rotation?
Hmm well I am blessed and able to choose any of 6 rooms to listen in. Each has its own charms. But there is only one best sounding system, though a second is arguably pretty close. It does give me 6 different “labs” to experiment with and build an...

Rotation or even better more than one system and music in multiple rooms.

Ohm Walsh speakers. Nothing else like them. Class D amps. Finally able to afford and accommodate taking things to the max.
Speaker Road Trip
Tough decision!  No right answer.  Speaker choice is a very personal thing.

Well it’s not very proper to ask a question then try to censure people whose opinions may not line up. Nor very constructive.
Ohm Walsh speakers in the 21st century
Regarding amps,   They are not hard to drive but  they like beefy amps capable of delivering lots of current for best performance.  They are sold direct from factory in Brooklyn NY in the US since ~ the 1990s.   Used to be sold via dealers prior. ...
Ohm Walsh speakers in the 21st century
All the Walsh models since inception around 1981 or so have separate tweeter and are damped in the wall facing direction by default.   Can be customized.  Original Ohm A and F were a different beast with a single full range driver and full Omni.
Why have capacitors improved so much over the years?
If they have, and I wouldn’t doubt that they have, it is likely due to more precise computer aided design and robotic manufacture.
Reasonably sensitive speakers for tube amps, max $2k/pair, new or used
Love the looks of the Abbeys.  Would buy them at their price just for that.
Class D amps that are superior to all or most?
I stand corrected regarding the Anthem. 😳Another very good one I heard was Rogue Pharoah. The high end dealer who also sells ARC and mostly tube amps and NEVER sells anything that sounds less than superb said he thought that one was the best sound...
My battle with sibilance.
You did the right things.  Recordings are what they are.  Good quality digital helps establish a reference standard to help identify issues with tricky items like proper turntable setup

Just for reference, Ohm speakers can be returned during trial period for shipping cost only. Company has been around for 50 years now and is not “desperate”. Also a sterling reputation for customer service. Very backlogged as well these days thoug...
NAD M33 and which speakers?
That amp will drive anything well so you have your choice of pretty much anything.
Equipment Report: Linear Tube Audio's New Ultralinear PLUS
Hi Lance. Hope all is well. With pandemic settling down and thinking about some new amps at some point soon would love to finally plan that trip down to hear your stuff, especially these amps.  Maybe I could bring my smaller Ohms and KEF ls50 meta...
