Best vintage or modern tonearms for Denon DP 80 I guess it depends on what you call vintage. Most of the arms of the 70s were made to handle the high compliance MM cartridges that were popular then. As MC became more popular, you got the Linn Ittok, Rega 250 and 300, Syrinx, Michell, Sumiko etc...
Cartridge and Phono advice for Classic 3 I use a Manley Steelhead, which is a great phono preamp. Previously I used a SimAudio LP5.3 with PSX5.3 power supply. Also very good, just not as flexible as the Manley.

4-500 $ cartridge for Project Debut Carbon ? Get a slightly used cartridge, such as dynavector 17d2 or 23rs, Benz Glider, Clearaudio virtuoso or Maestro, or Ortofon 2m Black. While the Dyna 10x5 is a good cartridge for $500, it does not compare to these, which are over $1000 retail but can b...

Cartridge and Phono advice for Classic 3 I have a Lyra delos and Dyna Te Kaitora Rua. I enjoy both. The Dyna may be a little more neutral than the Delos, which has a more forward midrange, but the difference is minimal. I could easily live with either.
Best vintage or modern tonearms for Denon DP 80 If you are looking for changeable headshells, the SME 309 is very good. Also, the Helius Aurora and Omega can be purchased with removeable headshells and are excellent.
Upgrading from AT95e cart..... no, not a quantum leap.more like a step. you decide which direction
Small Speakers For A Large Room... PSB Synchrony One will fill that room, and they are pretty narrow floorstanders.
New turntable help Also look at the Basis 1400 and the Sota Satelitte, or even a refurbished Sota Sapphire.
New TAD equipment, speaker suggestions? PSB Synchrony One or Imagine T2
What brand did you leave Rega for? Rega Planar 3 to Oracle Delphi II, III and V, Sota Sapphire, Star and Cosmos IV, Transrotor Fat Bob, Custom PTP Lenco L75, Custom plinth Technics SP10, Solid Aluminum plinth Empire 208 and assorted others.
What's the weak link in my Analog chain? Quick and easy, upgrade your VPI to Mk IV, with the super platter. More expensive., trade your VPI and Souther for a VPI Classic, Oracle Delphi, Sota Star or Basis 2200 with their appropriate arms, JMW, SME or Vector. then make sure every part of ...
