Duke & Sellerwithintegrity,Sorry for addressing my last post to you Duke. It was, in fact meant for Sellerwithintegrity.
Azimuth&Bias on HIFI test record
Doug,Thanks for the compliment as I was a little nervous about writing. So many people here know much more about these types of subjects and it's a little intimidating.I'm sure about the canitlever statements I made. While I don't have a clue as t...
What Equipment Remains In Your System Long Term?
Same turntable and arm for nineteen years.
What are the most under-appreciated products?
Marco,Are those speakers casually known as the Fart Winds and the Dog Asses?
Azimuth&Bias on HIFI test record
Azimuth can best be confirmed with a mirror. The object is to have the cartridge perfectly perpendicular to the record. I'm no setup guru and could be wrong on this but it seems to me that if azimuth were wrong then the relationship between the ar...

Hey Psych, maybe you and Sean should get together, put a linear tracking tonearm on that 1200 and take over the analog world. ;>)
How often do you have to tuneup Linn Sondek LP12
As a very satisfied, long time LP12 owner I've had to tweak my suspension three times since 1984 and one of those times was when installing the Cirkus upgrade. I've lived in my current home for 16 years and have moved the table three times. Set it...

The right channel raspy sound clearly indicates you have a setup or defective cartridge issue, Pbb. Regarding ever so slight edge warp and the associated problem with the first 1/2 inch of the recording being noisy, I have never had such a complai...
Naim Fans
Muzikat,While I'm not familiar with the current crop of Naim components, I know that the 32, 42 and 42.5 which are preamps don't even have power cords. They either use the amplifier power supply or, like you say, the upgrade power supply. I have p...
Jump Factor
The first time I heard a hand clap on Janis Ian's "Breaking Silence" album I almost bolted out of my chair thinking something bad had happened to a new record I couldn't return.
How to remove silicone?
I believe alchohol is the solvent to use.

Thanks Dawgbyte. I guessed I missed noticing the price, instead focusing on the center channel. Funny, but if I bought them, my wallet would be lighter than air.
Differences in CD players? Am I crazy?
I agree with Dougdeacon and Seantaylor99.

I know for sure that my 42.5/110 could run off the 110 power supply or be upgraded by using a Snaps or Hicap. Since the 250 has been around as long or longer than the 110 I would suspect that it would. I bought my system in the early 80's and sold...
