| Active studio monitors. Nobody has them. Why? i use active studio monitors. i think you'll find that ATC monitors are getting more popular with the audio crowd. i haven't heard genelec, but i've never heard a better speaker in my life that ATCs. | |

| If Thiel, Wilson, Sonus, made active speakers????? jazzdude - such is the beauty of ATC active speakers - they have no real sound-type. they are, by far, the most neutral, uncolored speakers i have ever heard, period. their amps are world class, just like their drivers and enclosures. | |

| Looking for a monitor that likes walls linn, rega, and naim speakers are all meant to be placed close to walls. you can tune the speakers to the room a bit by moving them in small increments towards/away from the wall. | |
| etymotic 4P earphones i'll agree that you're lkely not wearing them properly. when the seal is properly maintained, i've never heard better headphones in my life. the tinny sound you describe is what happens when there is no seal. |
