Does your system reflect your personality?
nope, my system is *NOT* an egomaniacal, raving lunatic of a self-absorbed asshole.
HT gets more and more complicated.
dts neo:6 isn't a format per se - it's dts's version of prologic 2, or just an algorithm to extract multichannel from 2-channel sources.as such, nothing will be "recorded" or "released" in neo:6i use it on occasion, but for the most part prologic ...

1 - DD and DTS are competing formats and DTS has the edge on possible fidelity, by nature of higher sampling rates - should the engineer choose to use them. they are both compressed digital signals, but DTS's compression algorithm doesn't lose as ...

Active Speakers
i also think tannoy makes some active speakers, but i could be wrong about that.if you go fot the ATC's, though, you'll never look back. i use all ATC's in my system (two 50's and 3 10's) and will never use anything else again. (at home, anyway)

Original Rega Planet vs. new Jupiter
i've owned all three and the descriptions are quite accurate.original planet to jupiter2k is quite substantial. still sounds like a rega, and frequency extensions are better. still warm-sounding and non-fatiguing. very worthwile, imho.
What is your favorite low-tech tweek?
getting rip-shit drunk whilst listening.
Boston Accoustic VR975, Need some input please.
i used these for about 4 years (sold 'em a few months back), before i was first getting in to high-end audio. they are very, very good home theater speakers, especially if running off af an a/v receiver. they are colored enough to cover up some of...

Which 16:9, 46" RPT--Toshiba v. Sony
honestly, i'd avoid both - pioneer (especially the pioneer elite line) makes the best rptv's on the market. period.
