SME Baseplate Question
I have a possible solution. Back when I was messing with building arms, turntables and other phono stuff, I built a few pseudo-SME bases and I have 1-2 around.I have a nickel-finish one with the SME hole (too big for you) and I have a black one wi...
DACs and audio formats
1. Some do. Some don't.2. Not likely unless you find a transport with USB or ethernet output (aside from some proprietary solutions).3. EMM, dCs, PCs and MACs.4. Possibly. This would be on a case-by-case basis since the future cannot be guaranteed...

Do preamp processors produce a slight hum .
First, it ain't a common feature of prepros but it is a common problem with cable boxes. These are often installed with improper grounds, i.e., remote from the main house ground resulting in a ground loop. Relocating the cable ground to the main g...
Accurate human voice reproduction
Can you give us an example of a speaker and situation where a speaker can sound good with singing but not with speech that is not recording-dependent?
