Passive subwoofer too loud. You definitely want something adjustable so you can change the sub output to your liking. If you opt for a preamp with a remote you can change it from your listening position on the fly.
Passive subwoofer too loud. Check out Schiit Audio. They have a small passive volume control for about $50 that should work fine to lower the signal to the subs.
Nobsound springs - load range Oh, I also thought about using 2 in each speaker corner. Would that do the trick? Thanks
Nobsound springs - load range My speakers (Reference 3A Nefes) are about 160 Lbs. Any ideas on how to increase the weight capacity of the 4 Nobsound Springs so I can use them? At $1,000 for 8, the Gaia I footers are not an option.

The Audiophile's Wife no longer putting it out? It might be stressful to come up with something every week, maybe she could post just when something happens that needs writing about?
Revel Salon 1 mid range drivers Is there some way to warm the frame so as to possibly weaken the glue bond? Constant pulling pressure over time may loosen it up. Like removing a sticker. If you slowly pull them off the sticker won't rip. Just a guess.
Best In-ear monitors under $350? Oh yes! Let's just dismiss a potential great bargain because it was done by a professional reviewer who relies on measurements as well as listening (headphone and EIM especially). All I'm saying is go READ the review, then make up your mind after ...
Gustard - Warranty Repair in the US? APOS was a great idea, but they don't seem to sell Gustard on their web site.
Best In-ear monitors under $350? ASR just measured a $50 IEM that he says are fantastic. Check them out, if you can get a pair. |
