@rauliruegasI just found out you have a very highly resolving relatively expensive system that can justify spending $ for optimization. Get your cartridges optimize- get/hire a knowledgable cartridge optimization professional (maybe a seasoned dea...

@rauliruegasI was simply defining “optimum” cartridge setup means getting the stylus angles correct. There are many roads on how to get there, I’m still learning how but I listed some methods/tools that I need to further explore as mentioned in my...

@rauliruegas You could have simply Googled “turntable cartridge cantilever” then look at the illustrations/pics, but I’ll try to explain in words. Generally, turntable cartridge is constructed with body (shell), coils, magnets, suspension (for can...

@rauliruegas “i can add that almost everyone knows that it's the cantilever/stylus the ones that be align in the protractor.“I think you missed my pointFirst, it appears you’re confusing cartridge cantilever with tonearm.  Second, I’m referring to...
Should a reference speaker be neutral, or just great sounding?
“Should a reference speaker be neutral..”At first glance, I get what the OP was asking. But upon deeper scrutiny, the exercise seems a bit ludicrous. And at some level, it’s like finding a solution to a problem when a problem doesn’t exist.- The O...

Why the truth is not in them ??
While there’s been a few practical advice posts regarding the OP, there’s been much debate on the morality aspect. Although many valid points were made, I think the expectations are unrealistic and focus is wrong/unhealthy.Seller risk is a fact.My...

Most organic / real / analogue sounding DAC (ideally with Volume Control) for $1500??????
While most seem to say that vinyl sounds better than digital, digital also can sound great. Digital also offers the following advantages:- cheaper price of admission- cheaper media- more available media- much more available songs, albums- purchase...
Most organic / real / analogue sounding DAC (ideally with Volume Control) for $1500??????
If you want an “analog” sounding DAC, I don’t think you can for $1500. The Prima Luna EVO 100 Tube DAC Is $3k. The Halo Audio May DAC starts at $4k. You may like the Halo Audio Spring DAC which starts at $1.7k. The other DACs suggested sound great...
