RSX technologies Benchmark AC cable
@triskadecaphobic  We know that Roger Skoff comes from an excellent XLO cabling design background. From RSX’s very slow product releases, few but great reviews, pricing much lower than medium-top XLO offerings, I highly suspect that this time aro...
Your thoughts on best audiophile speakers in $10,000 neighborhood?
Volti Razz or stretch to a Volti Lucera - highly efficient, clear, clean, quick effortless sound.
Do I need a phono preamp?
The entire audio chain matters, best to address the weak links. So yes, a better phono stage is a good idea since very few built-in phono stages are built to higher quality/sonics.  Lots of excellent choices.
Resolving Hum with Battery Back-up (EcoFlow) vs Power Conditioners: success vs failure
@uberk  Whew! What an ordeal. Good to hear…know that you solved the hum problem.  Maybe some components more sensitive than others to poor grid power quality.
Digital with same soundstage as analog
Yes you can get a soundstage, no if “same” means “identical” - analog and digital are 2 different technologies and not mixed the same way

Your tuner Manual is here Seems your tuner is vintage, therefore maybe check these FM tuner enthusiasts here

+1 @lak a day or two is not enough for cable breakin. 150-200hrs is somewhat standard.
WHY CABLES MATTER!
@calvinj  I suspect that many naysayers: Haven’t tried it themselves  Tried on an audio chain not transparent enough, the noise floor including ambient is not low enough, or their hearing is not sensitive enough.  This is tough to point out a...
For classical music lovers best amp for large orchestral forces?
Since the OP likes the Pass XA25 tube-like midrange, GanFET amplifiers maybe an ideal fit as it would give more power, otherwise a giant tube amp Or, simply try a SS amp since his tube pre may be enough.
Need help choosing my first amp for my first speakers
I hesitant for this suggestion as it’s underpowered, but the sonics are great at it’s price point - Outlaw Audio RR2150 at 100/160wpc (8/4 ohm) here, but a used one on eBay for $495 here. Maybe enough for average volume, dunno. Otherwise, you’ll h...
Opinions about Daniel Hertz
I heard the ML story directly from John Curl - that’s the first knock on ML. Next is their gear is rarely/never mentioned in the latest gear or in comparison reviews, so I’m assuming old tech to not compete well sonically with contemporary new ele...
New Synergistic Master Fuse
@ozzy  do you mean QSA Black/Rec? There is no Red/Black. Deciphering Audiophile fuses was frustrating, especially since QSA prices got very steep in a hurry.  So I was leaning towards the lower cost  Swiss Digital Fuse Box. But your positive rev...
Do I actually need a dedicated amp/DAC for my setup?
My triplets are nearly done with college- glad I can afford. Not sure if one can plug a phono stage directly into your amp like some DACs with a volume control can.  Since the Ferrum has volume control, should be okay but not sure if impedance ma...
Has anyone heard the BACCH-SP "purifier" 3D audiophile imager?
The BAACH software will need hardware to run like a MAC. I too am looking at the BAACH 4MAC as their 20k+ hardware option is out of my budget. But since I have a DAC/streamer that connects directly to the Ethernet, not sure is BAACH can be used i...
At what point do you...
Used, demo, open box mostly- it’s the only way I can afford targeted sonics.  New if used option not available such as a newer model.
