Can anyone describe the sound of the Kharma...
While the midrange may be very transparent in both speakers, the Kharma's are much more coherant. There is a more natural and lifelike sound with the Kharma's.All of the speakers you mention are quite good. I just feel that the Kharma's are more l...
Can anyone describe the sound of the Kharma...
Jordan, all I can say is the midrange clarity is so addictive. It is very fast, accurate and full of natural body. The Cary should be a wonderful match with the speaker. I think you will find that the Ceramiques also have the ability to disappear ...
Kharma CRM 3.2F
The speaker you are talking about is also know as the Kharma Reference Monitor. There is a review coming by Jonathan Valin in Absolute Sound. From his comments in the last issue when he answered Mike Lavigne's letter, he made inferences to their g...
Can anyone describe the sound of the Kharma...
Absolutely. I have a pair of the Midi Grands and am amazed by the level of clarity and cohesiveness. I am driving them with the Tenor 75 Wp amplifiers and the match is miraculous. :)
lamm ml2 with wilson watt 6 or 7?
While the ML2's produce a beautiful sound with the WP's, the speakers really need quite a bit more power.
Elect. EMC-1 Mk II vs. Audio Aero Capitole Mk II ?
I clearly prefer the Audio Aero Capitole. It is the best sounding CD player that I have heard and with the ability of running direct, you can sell your preamp and acheive better sound. The next batch of MK II's are on their way. If you decide on on...
Cary CD 306/200; what else?
For a bit more, you can get an Audio Aero Capitole MK I. It has an analogue volume control and sounds best running directly into an amplifier. Sell your preamp, the extra interconnect and power cord and buy a MK I, you won't be disappointed.

It's Magnepan 20.1's or B&W Nautilus 801's
I prefer the Maggie's for many reasons. However, your room could be problematic for the immense 20.1's. I think they need even more room to breathe and open up, but it might still be manageable. You certainly have enough power to drive them, but I ...
BAT's 6H30 "Super Tube"
I would not recommend swapping the 6h30. It definitely is not interchangeable with the 6922.Tenor Audio, LAMM, ARC and many others use the tube. It is a great improvement over the 6922.
Review: Lindemann D680 CD Player
How can you listen without speakers? :)Welcome, you are obviously a brand new user and as this is your first post, it is quite a strong statement.
CJ MF2500 and Audio Aero Capitole?

Should Class A Amps be left on??
Leave them on.
Best Power Conditioner?
The PS Audio products are current limiting and choke down the sound. The do quiet things down a bit, but the expense of what is lost is not worth it.I did not get a chance to spend a whole lot of time with the Audio Magic Stealth (1 week with a br...
