Looking for Blues with High Fidelity
Analog Productions has some excellent blues recordings.Right now I'm rather obsessed with the Peter Green Splinter Group Artisan Recordings) especially the live album. They're very well done. Chris Smither - Another Way to Find You.BB King - Blues... 
Analog challenged by room, space and esthetics.
You might want to try adding a third sub which will go a long way toward smoothing out the room modes.It doesn't have to be the same brand. There's no risk if it's returnable or you can borrow one for a weekend.

Think about getting a pair of Forte IVs from Crutchfield that are returnable.The totally reworked models that I've seen for sale are priced to just recover the cost of the upgrades. If you really enjoy projects you could compare for yourself.

Credit cards definitely first.Then cut them up and pay cash only for the equipment for this hobby.

I'm not sure what brands Audio Advisor and Crutchfield sell nowadays. But they will work with you regarding home auditions. Doesn't hurt to browse there and see if there's anything interesting.

IMO the little kef sub(s) would run out of steam in your room. If you end up comparing those to a pair with 12" drivers I think you would hear how the small drivers just can't sound effortless in a good sized room. Same with the rel micros. My ro...
