Is There A Big Difference Between Subwoofers From Different Manufacturers
My subs are tucked away behind furniture so appearance isn't important.I've had a  Def Tech sub,a couple of Dayton subs, and now two HSUs and one SVS 2000.As you move up the line the cabinets are better quality and overall more attention to every ...

There are some good people here that stay under the radar and out of the silliness. Thanks for posting nhb307 :-) Enjoy those speakers!
Your sub experience: Easy or hard?
It wasn't hard at all, it was fun. I enjoyed the "subwoofer crawl",messing with the crossovers, plugging and unplugging ports.I have two HSUs and one SVS.If the HSUs ever stop working I would have all SVS.Controlling all of settings from the liste...

Are Tube Buffers for real or even worth it ?
+1 @dinov I tried a tube buffer years ago and it was indeed my gateway drug:-) That midrange!
Why is used audio equipment so undesirable?

An upgrade ? From Sonus Faber to Harberh speaker
I used to have the C7ES2 and  I agree the treble was a bit muted. But that midrange..... heavenly.

Hegel or a Modwright
I have a Modwright KWA120SE that I use in the summer instead of my tube amp. My speakers are Zu Omen Defs. It is sort of tubey sounding. It's both sweet and clear and rounds off the leading edges just a little. I like how it separates instruments ...
3-Dimensional Soundstage
My room is unfortunately practically square. I do get some layering which I'm content with. The one time I was able to hear real depth is when I was sitting on the floor listening to my new stand mounts (no stands yet). The soundstage was way beyon...
