Shipping a screen?
We ship aircraft hinges in PVC pipe from the local home improvement store. Glue one end with a cap, then either slip on a cap and seriously tape it or glue on a female adapter then use a threaded plug. If you can't get PVC big enough use ABS (the ...
Infinity Kappa 9's sound terrible...HELP
If they are the 9.1 series 2, I have heard that they draw some serious low ohm loads. If your amp cannnot handle the draw that could add some strain on the system. There are a couple of Infinity Classics groups that have some good information avai...

Leave an amp "on" permanetly

The breaker is a good choice. Also if you are using the "thin" style breakers, (these are the ones that fit two to a socket) they will work poorly. If it is a GFI type breaker they work poorly and die frequently. You may have to try more than one ...
Anyone remember The Warehouse?
Now you folks lossened some old neurons. I purchased my Sansui 8080 from Pacific Stereo in the mid 70's. Played the daylights out of it until about five years ago. Now my daughter has it and is still jammin' in her apt. while she attends her 2nd y...
Two-channel SACD player recommendations?
Ditto on the Sony product. Mine is a SCD333 & it sounds "cleaner than a Safeway chicken" on my Krell system. Never a problemo' nor a hiccup. Good luck, John
Best way to clean CD player lens?
So do you do yours by using a slim nozzle and spraying in the genreal area of the lens? I feel the air would not hurt anything. Have you done it?-John
Best way to clean CD player lens?

Sony SCD-1 Weight
If the seller has a FedEx account then they go off the weight of the shipper. It is up to the shipper to determine the weight and then fill in the blanks of the way bill. If the seller took it to a FedEx drop off point then it would have been weig...
