Beatles Session Musicians Who?
There was an interview with John Lennon in Playboy back in the 80's before he was murdered. They asked John about each and every Beatle song and what its meaning was. He went through the whole list describing who wrote what & what it was about...
Brag About Your Vinyl Collection
"How can the record Bad by Michael Jackson be rare. They made plenty of copies. Just because your friends don't have it doesn't make it rare."'Cause most folks used them for skeet!

Need to warm things up a bit...
I will agree with Mechans. I don't know what pre & amp your using, but when I used Cardas with my Krell system it really took the edge off. So much so, that I swapped out their Golden Ref. interconnects for the Quadlink version. To each their ...
Jeffs Sound Values in CA. PH not working/closed?
That's truly a shame. I own my own business & I hate to see small business falter. It would be nice if it is a retirement issue. That's what we all strive for. Thanks for the input. Maybe something will surface with them in the near future. -John
Krell KSA150 vs KSA100S & KSA100 for Inf Kappa 9
I ran my Infinity Rennasaince 90's with a KSA200S and the setup worked well. Now I use a FPB300cx. I had issues with the KSA. I also don't recommend shipping that behemoth, as that is how mine got scrapped by FedX comming back from Krell. If your ...
Phase switch on pre amp use?
Thanks for the notes. Electricity has a mind of it's own and sometimes can be confusing. It struck me as odd that one can swap directions of the juice in an instant without causing some electrical grief. "Safety first" as my dad used to say. -John
Phase switch on pre amp use?
Where does it reverse the polarity? To the amp, speakers, all around...? What is this supposed to do, change sound or are some systems positive ground?(Noided is slang for super paranoid)Thanks again, John
George McCorkle passed away
Sorry to hear of Georges passing. MTB is a really fun band live. I saw them once at Santa Barbera County Bowl on a Saturday afternoon. Circa 1980-something with Little Feat opening up. The bowl is so nice to see a concert at. You can listen to the...
Krell KCT question
Stevecham; I have listened to a few bass heavy tunes and they just seem a little lighter than they were, but it could be what you say about accuracy. Perhaps afer a few more hours of play things will gel a bit better. The pre only has about 40 hou...
Shipping a screen?
We ship aircraft hinges in PVC pipe from the local home improvement store. Glue one end with a cap, then either slip on a cap and seriously tape it or glue on a female adapter then use a threaded plug. If you can't get PVC big enough use ABS (the ...
Infinity Kappa 9's sound terrible...HELP
If they are the 9.1 series 2, I have heard that they draw some serious low ohm loads. If your amp cannnot handle the draw that could add some strain on the system. There are a couple of Infinity Classics groups that have some good information avai...

OK, you folks are making me nervous. I am waiting on my brand new KCT to arrive, but it is stuck on a UPS plane in BF USA."Exception due to weather" is their holdup. It is aledgedly double boxed as told by the seller. Hopefully UPS has the screen ...
