I thought dealers, designers and manufacturers are expected to identify themselves...not sure if it is an actual "rule"...

I agree with a 2 channel amp for mains...I have used Odyssey, Pass, Bryston with great success  
Do good power cords have to be stiff?
I’ve also read from a few manufacturers that if your power cords seem too stiff, it might be that your equipment is too close to the wall, and there are lots of nasties in wall you don’t want too close to your gear...  
want to replace my Marantz CD player
agree on the Ruby...friend upgraded from SA14S1 to Ruby and was substantial upgrade...I owned the Ruby and it is excellent as CD Player and DAC...

used market also helped by sometimes long wait when ordering new gear...

agree with full disclosure...that's why I traded mine in to PS when upgrading, so I wouldn't have to deal with this issue...the newest one has quirks like this too...

sub can make everything sound worse...but a single sub if you have a single listening position can work quite well...crossover, phase, volume settings crucial, and take time to get right...I like the put the sub where you sit and crawl around the ...

Cambridge AXA35...often $229 factory refurbished direct from Cambridge...I've purchased 2 for friends and they sound and work great...

Vandertseen strongly recommends dual speaker cables to each speaker...I also prefer this, and then jumpers as second choice...Richard Vandersteen writes about this on their website forums...agree or not it's interesting reading...

Nordost said at the time because single wire with a jumper sounded better than internal biwire...I agree with this, and many speaker companies do too, though of course there is endless debate about it...

Currently own original Saga, I find it excellent...also owned Vidar and Bifrost, both also excellent...got quick, helpful responses to a couple of questions I emailed them...
