I’ve bought a bunch of refurbished stuff from acc4l for myself and friends for a number of years and all purchases were excellent. Also good experiences buying refurbished direct from Cambridge and Elac

I saw a 452, but when I saw the price, it seemed quite obvious...same with a recent Anthem STR...  
Do I need a DAC?
shouldn't need 3 DAC's...though the DAC in an integrated is not always so great...and the DAC in some CD players is not connectable to other sources...shop carefully  
Affordable vs. ultra expensive speakers - what's the difference?
there are some inexpensive speakers I like a lot, and some expensive one's I do not like, but all my favorites are expensive...not sure if those who do not hear a difference are lucky or unlucky...they save money but miss out on so much  
Tired of all the gimmicky pricing, i.e. $999.99 or $927
I love the weird pricing...much prefer $927 to $999.99...plus most make offers anyway

one sub can work fine, if you have a single listening position, and the flexibility to place the sub where it needs to go...  
Do good power cords have to be stiff?
Made me chuckle too. But when I moved my rack 6 inches out , my stiff cords became much easier to manage even though they were just as stiff.
