Adcom GFA 555 versus Rotel RMB 1095for stereo
The Rotel RB-1090 was essentially a two channel version of your amp and sold for the same price. There are lots of good two channel amps you could essentially trade your Rotel for, just don't think the GFA 555 is one of them.

I agree that the Adcom 565 mono blocks are also way better than the GFA 555 in question.

I have the Rotel and to me it's a much better amp than the Adcom. I use it for home theater, though it might even sound better in two channel.
Upgrade under $1000. Aragon or?
I have owned the Aragon and Acurus products, and for what you're looking to spend, I much prefer integrateds from Naim, Portal and Primare.
OUTLAW RR2150 vs NAD C 326BEE sonic differences?
Many phono preamps at low prices that are as good as the Outlaw's built in one. Very happy with my Parasound phono pre. Agree that as integrateds the NAD and Outlaw are similar. I have had numerous quality problems with NAD.
Connecting sub to Yamaha CA 810
Lots of folks prefer the speaker connection to a sub. I also think you can use the Yamaha's pre out jack.
PreDAC for Rowland 201 monoblocks
Sorry Ziffle. The Capri is a wonderful pre, I have used one for three years based on Guido's suggestions.

I found Mapleshade maple boards and brass cones to work well with Capri. Any favorite power cords for Capri Guido?
What kind of power cord comes with expensive gear
Despite my poor eyesight and miserable hand eye coordination, I do feel comfortable attaching a power cord.
What kind of power cord comes with expensive gear
I'm always hoping the cheaper cable sounds better, I didn't want the after market power cord to improve the sound of my system. But unfortunately that wasn't the case.
Cable Breakin
on the other hand, not much to lose by running them a few weeks and then listening. Lots of things shouldn't make a difference, but do...
What is your take on Mapleshade products
Their Ionoclast CD and LP zapper may be the most amazing low cost tweak I have ever used. And Pierre always has time to talk with his customers...
What is your take on Mapleshade products
I love their stuff. Generally inexpensive, and money back guarantee. I particularly like their maple boards and brass cones. And if you buy used, it holds value for years.
Integrated Amps that run hot
And the Naim sounds great and it seemed like such a fun idea...
Manley Stingray question
I have noticed an occasional Stingray for under $1000 and always wondered why so low. By the time I would double check they were always gone.
