Never Use HiFi-Exquis - Worst Merchant Ever!
+1 garyalex. His was an inflammatory, fact free statement.

Where is there a high end audio dealer in Huntsville?
What would be your favorite 3 tracks that demonstrate how great your system sounds?

Looking for my Final Pair!!
+1 on the Magnepans if you have the room and the power.
Suggest one obsure album we all should hear
Not obscure in UK but very obscure here: "Moseley Shoals" by Ocean Colour Scene. "The Riverboat Song" is my favorite song ever and is a great recording that’ll stretch your speakers; especially imaging, speed, dimensionality.
Are your current amps and other gear the best you've ever had?
Yes. Absolutely.
Love to see the opinions on this piece about TIDAL not workig with hifi streamers......
All agreed. Nonsense.
Shopping for new speakers-need ideas... Selling old DQ-10's...

I dunno what power your Ruby or the size/build of your room but, properly driven, Magnepans .7s or (like I have) 1.7s I think are exactly what you'd like.
What did your system look like 30 years ago?
Hafler DH100, DCM Time Window 1as, NAD basic CD player, I think preamp was CJ PV3, Harmon Kardon ST-8 TT, and Grado mid-grade cartridge.
Speaker upgrade
Why not the big Magnepans?
Looking for some new floor standing speakers
Maggies, in the right room, always found best to me and are great value but you need walls behind and a lot of power.
How old are you?
60, look 50, feel 30, most days. I did that Teloyears thing last year and my body age was 39!
I love sad music
Yup. Love sad stuff. Many songs connect with me too after PTSD and Clinical depression for 30yrs. (PTSD is controlled now and no depression either.) But that music and sad stuff generally still resonates way more than happy stuff - though clever f...
How eclectic is your taste in music?
Pretty eclectic lol. I struggle with country music as well as corporate pop music, and don't like jazz but, aside from that I love Die Antwoord to Bach, Pink Floyd to Sex Pistols, Christopher Cross to Tool, Broadway musicals to The Proclaimers, Th...
