Ditching Class A Amps due to Heat - Sort of a Poll
I have owned tube amps and Class A amps (Plinius, Bedini, Pass Labs, First Watt) but my favorite is my Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 Class D integrated.
Downsizing for Blade 2 and hunting for smaller floor standers
Totem Element Series. Fire or Metal V2's.
Liquid Stylus Cleaners
When my dealer installed my Lyra Kleos he told me not to use the fluid that comes with the cartridge.
What Gear Has Disappointed You?
I had a Blue Circle BC-204 and couldn't get it to sound good in my system. Plus it was unreliable and shipped it twice for repairs.
benz micro LP or KISEKI PURPLE EARTH?
I'm using a Lyra Kleos with my Gyrodec/SME 309 set up. I recently had a Technics SL-1210 GAE and used a Kiseki Purpleheart on that table. I agree with dover regarding the Purpleheart. I sold the technics table and really have no desire to swap out...
Who has heard and can comment on any of these brands??
I had the Audio Physics Tempo Plus speakers for a little while. They were fun speakers but I found them to be colored compared with Bache speakers. I had listened to the Audio Physics Avanti which I thought had a more refined midrange and tighter ...

Power cable for Bryston
I use a Triode Wire Labs Digital American power cord with my BCD-3. Much better midrange and high’s over the stock cable.
Looking for a preamp with XLR connections
I second the Jeff Rowland Capri S2 recommendation. Forget about ASR.
D’Agostino Progression integrated
I agree about the Pass int. I bought a Rowland Continuum S2 and love it. I have not heard the others.
3k Phono preamp upgrade options (JC3+, XP-17, etc)
It's too bad the Herron is discontinued. I had a JC3+. I prefer my Herron much more, especially that I can use it without any loading.
Pass XP27 vs. Rowland Conductor Phono
I’m breaking in the HP phono stage in my Rowland Continuum s2 integrated amp right now. I never heard the Pass phono stage but did have a couple of Pass amps in my system in the last few years. As far as amps go, I prefer the Rowland sound over Pa...
Up to $4000US tower speakers for Jazz and Classical Music
Take a look at Bache Audio. I have had Quad ESLs and even Shahinian speakers, which are tailor made for classical music. I prefer my Bache Tribeca’s for both Blue Note jazz and Mahler symphonies.
After years of separates, I'm going integrated. Anyone else do the same?
@runwell  Yes it is a class D amp. I’m very impressed so far. I was never fond of class D in the past.
Your thoughts on my quest for new speakers
I agree with twoleftears. Go visit Bache.
