Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's @easola01,I have the Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP integrated feeding the T2s. It's plenty of power in my room--about 13 wide by 22 long by 9 high. I love it. I have only 2 gripes with it and they are small. 1. When you power it up it defaults ...
Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's You're welcome! I became curious to see if my aural memory was accurate. I swapped in the Creek Evo 100 yesterday and listened for a good 3 hours. The Creek is just clearer. It's lens into the music is cleaner. The Nova300 is bigger in sound, ...
Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's I cannot comment on your phono preamp as I have not heard it. But the notion of a good phono pre brings up a good point. The phono stage in my Creek Evo 100A is decent, but when I bought a Manley Chinook phono stage it changed everything for the b...
Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's Tube rolling on the PL HP is not expensive in the preamp phase, but is in the amp section given the number of tubes.
Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's Sure thing! The T2s and the Creek were a great match. The Creek digs to 170w at 4ohm and the first 25 w are class A. It really did the trick. I moved the Primaluna out for the hot Chicago summer months and went back and forth with the Creek and ...
Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's By the way, the bass from the Creek into the T2s is just so nice and tight. I can make the curtains move if the speakers are closer to the wall. The Primaluna is my favorite though.
Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's easola01, I have tried the Primaluna Dialogue HP Premium, Creek Evolution 100A, and PeachtreeNova 300. If you're open to tubes, I'd highly recommend the Primaluna. It's a great match with the T2s.I haven't gone up the the $5k mark on the solid s...
Best integrated for PSB Imagine T2's @OP,I have the T2s and have played around with SS and tube integrateds. I can't write much right now but I'll follow up tonight.
Your choice - TT, Arm, Stage, Cartridge - $5000 budget Whacky,I have the Chinook, ART 9 cartridge, and Primaluna Dialogue HP integrated as a pairing--I have all 3 running off a Technics 1200 GAE and feeding PSB Imagine T2s.They all sound great together. I can tell you you that the ART 9 is superb. I'...
Has Anyone Heard the (fairly) New Technics Grand Class TT? I think there are many posts about the Grand Class on here for your reference. I own the Grand Class. I spent more than my budget by about $2k, but I have not a single regret. In addition to fantastic sound, the machine is so well built. I think i...
Considering switching from Audio Research to PrimaLuna, troube with VS115 amp Awesome post, responses and great follow-up by everyone as well as Kevin. A special thanks to Kevin for setting that up and posting for all us to read about the results. It seems like the takeaway is the Primaluna product is a solid bet with tons...
Considering switching from Audio Research to PrimaLuna, troube with VS115 amp Please feel free to ignore this question if it's hijacking the thread too much. Given folks are commenting on the quality of tube amps out there...I'm super curious to know if you folks have any intel/opinions on Icon Audio tube amplifiers? They...
Considering switching from Audio Research to PrimaLuna, troube with VS115 amp I think that I maybe thought the test shootout would be last Saturday. Sorry. I want to make points in my very limited humble opinion:1. To the OP, as someone else seemed to say above, I wouldn't fret this too much. You bought a quality piece of...
Considering switching from Audio Research to PrimaLuna, troube with VS115 amp We need a status update!
Audio Technica ART9 sounds awful @safebelayer , What ended up happening and did you keep the ART9 or go back to the Dynavector? My ART9 sounded great out of the box. It was a bit restrained and had some surface noise, which went away in no time. |
