Record is noisier after cleaning: only clean a record when it really needs it, and a manual cleaning works just fine. any type of record 'juice' should be a last resort. | |
Heaver grade vinyl vs Standard thickness doesn't matter, but if the cost of old or new records freaks you out, don't get a turntable...or at least don't spend too much on one | |

Which Cartridge for Music Hall mmf 5.1 se? of the one's you've mentioned, the sonata will be the noticable improvement. i would however recommend the Audio Technica 150x....a proverbial giant killer. | |

Speakers for classical using my SET rig? not that the abbys are ideal, but classical music(orchestra) is best with the grunt of a push/pull amplifier. try one before you spend any money on anything. | |
