Why do turntables sound different?
If direct drive was obviously the best design approach not many turntable makers would stubbornly continue with the belt drive. Clearly, the situation is much more complex.Ralph, though you express your own opinion, I think that you misinform some...
Why do turntables sound different?
You guys run and sell your Comtinuums, Walkers, TechDases, Kronoses etc. real quick. They are not as good as Technics. And don’t argue, just do while you can still get a good price. Yeah, Rockport too.I am not talking about 100th generation copy o...
Dealers hijacking the discussions
There would be a lot of feedback and a lot of discussion disruption.

Then why not the rest of us advertise ourselves too ?  That would be entertaining. Hey, I want to take the opportunity to advance my business too.

Alright. It is very plain and simple. All the dealers and manufacturers, please do us a favour and leave this forum once and for all. Just because you have a formal right to be here doesn't mean that you should. Stop irritating us and humiliating ...

Throwing - no, but super sound is expensive even if you buy used. Let's not fool ourselves.
Can Vinyl LP's Survive In A Room that Gets 95 Degrees?
Maybe the question is also for how long. In addition, perhaps what kind of vinyl. That junk recycled vinyl..I don't know. I don't like the idea of taking a risk with this, though.

At least no-one around here pushes brands that I am interested in, except myself, of course. Good.

I understand the dealers'/manufacturers' need to make a living but I don't give a damn about it when participating on this forum.

Yeah, it irritates me too. Some of them are like flies all over the place. They keep begging pretending to offer an expertise. Others are okay, they don’t sound like audiophiles, though, but nor do many participants, dealers or not. Overall, this ...
