Moving to France
The OP posts a question about voltage, and some with no answer to the question simply take it as an opportunity to denigrate the country or people. They need to think hard about who they are and why they choose to act that way. They demean themselv...

Best options for active speakers $4k or below?
I've heard the active KEF LS50's are even better than the passive.
All New Acoustic Energy AE520 Flagship Loudspeakers // The Carbon Fiber Giant Killers ?!
Your breathless excitement (!) for so many "game changers" "bargains" "new technologies" "greater than the sum of its parts" and "giant killers" tuckers me out.https://forum.audiogon.com/users/highend666/discussionsAre you the Devil of the Exclama...

@rvpiano I’ve built my system in the last 6 months and have been dying to share it with all the members of the Colorado Audio Society (the RMAF organizers) and my friends. It helps to share descriptions and trade stories with folks on audio fora a...

@gnoworyta While I’m pretty sure no one wants harsh, I think I know what you mean. I was really seeking that upper detail and for that reason, folks here encouraged me to try AMT tweeters. That lead me toward Martin Logan’s Motion series and Legac...

@rosco88 Very nice gear you have. I  bought some nice Valvo AT7's from the 1960s for my pre and some Genelex GL 77's for my tube amp; nicer, mellower now, having replaced  the stock JJ's which were in both units (AT7's and KT88s) at purchase. Give...
Neutral Sounding Tube Amps - what gives?
I'm not sure why people feel content to talk about how "tube amps" sound because when you change the *tubes* a helluva lot can change.
Speaker Choices For My System
OP -- I love your list. From that list, I'd be most curious about the Spendors, because I've heard speakers in that line and like them. Have heard good things about the Joseph. I've been turned off by the B&W line, but have not heard the bette...

Charging A Fee To Demo An Amplifier In A Brick & Mortar Store
@mitch4t is talking about norms and best practices, here, not about "rights." FWIW.
