Your absolute top ten favorite tracks. Musically, this is good; sonically, it is superlative. Really in the top 3 sounding tracks.
I am about to embark on my next upgrade journey I'd second the Fritz recommendation. The Carbon 7's have a hold on folks, for good reason. See, e.g. this and this.
Giving Advice without recommending your own equipment Also, it seems many recommend equipment they do not own or ever heard. Truth rides on the credit system, William James said. That means that most of what we pass along are claims we have not verified ourselves. Why would audio be different? Wh...
You tube hifi influencers. Love them or hate them? @chenry I think it pays to have an open mind about "influencers." Are there other people like me ? Amazed by their low cost system :) All I said was, "Someone who was certain they were satisfied might not be tempted to ask this question." Pretty benign statement. Easy to agree with. No one here is certain. You're not certain. I'm not certain. I can admit that. The length of your...
Why do some amplifiers throw a bigger soundstage than others? Two things: lack of phase shift and aural effects having to do with the 2nd and 3rd harmonics, the latter of which can make an amp seem more detailed and spacious. Thanks @atmasphere The perception of a larger soundstage can be influenced by... |
