I should have mentioned, the Y connector works sometimes, but not always with the best sound.
True Analog LPs versus Digital Recordings
According to Wiki, it started in the 70s. Denon had a digital 8 track reel to reel in 1972, so who knows if anyone used one of those. A record company in Minnesota did digital vinyl in 1978. Wiki link.[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_recording]

I'm not that savvy when it comes to all the new multi-channel audio. I'm a two channel guy. If nobody that is savvy on this chimes in, try the 2ch (two channel) setting on your Denon. Its on page 24(pdf shows 28) in you manual. This may work, but ...

What do I win?More blue dots!!!
What do they mean for "long throw driver"??

Amplifier heat depending on power cable?
If this system is in France, my post most likely wouldn't apply if its on a 220/230 volt supply.
Amplifier heat depending on power cable?
One other possibility I can think of would be, they may have the ground and neutral tied together, in the cord. If the outlet has a long 14 gauge run, it might have a lot of voltage drop. If the ground and neutral are tied together, it can have a ...
Preamp modifications - who would you use?
I should have read all the posts first. My post was already covered.
Preamp modifications - who would you use?
I can't recommend anyone, but ask them what type/brand of caps they like for it, and what sonic changes to expect from those caps, or other parts/mods being done. Ask any possible downsides if any apply.
