How much should I expect with a warranty issue from a large retailer/distributor? I'm surprised they have a 90 day policy, most retailers are 30 days at best. I agree with most of the others who have commented so far; this is not a mark against Crutchfield, MD, or HiFi Rose IMHO.
Bob Weir: "George Jones is my favorite musician." One thing about Greg Brown (Mr. DeMent 😁) is pretty much all of his recordings sound great, even the lo-fi Iowa Waltz. Also, any fans of William Blake should check out Songs of Innocence and of Experience, fantastic album. On my commute home la...
Bob Weir: "George Jones is my favorite musician." Not familiar, and I will check them out - Dylan, then Levon? That's quite a pedigree!
Bob Weir: "George Jones is my favorite musician." p.s. I love Gram's out-of-tune warble on "Love Hurts", as well as the Everly's AND Nazareth's version (love the guitar solo on that one)!
Bob Weir: "George Jones is my favorite musician." @bdp24 we are very much sympatico on that list (I listened to Loretta's Don't Come Home a-Drinkin'... on vinyl last night with my wife), although I am not very familiar with a lot of the newer artists you mention, but I will change that. For moder...
Bob Weir: "George Jones is my favorite musician." Sorry, the above question was meant for you @bdp24 I just realized I didn't address anyone. More coffee, STAT!
Bob Weir: "George Jones is my favorite musician." Always loved George "Possum" Jones, his tone, phrasing and pace are instantly recognizable. I often sing "The Grand Tour" to myself in the car - it has what I consider one of the best and saddest final stanzas in country (or any) music: There's h...
Listening Room I move things around a bit when I want to do some "real" listening, then move it back when I'm done.
Thin Line Between Critique and Courtrooms: A Dialogue on the Recent Audiophile Drama Maybe what we need is a movie about audiophiles like the one done for food in The Menu. @nonoise, spot on!
Give Up on Bacch? I sat in the "sweet spot" at the Axpona demo for this product. It sounded fine, and "different" but also seemed very gimmicky overall. They played some stuff that had a bunch of flying insect sound effects and again, it was cool in the same way ...
Meeting up with members even where there is no sale I will be there today, I have a white beard, wild eyes, and a hankerin' for the (musical) truth. I will definitely be checking out your gear, b2colchagoff - that is a beautiful piece of work and I'd love to see more. Looking forward to a fu...
Audio quest Rocket 88 how good are they? I used a pair of Rocket 88 cables with Vandy 2CEs (not signature) in my main system for about 5 years, I thought they sounded great, no complaints whatsoever. They are also decently flexible, which was nice as the Vandersteen's binding posts aren...
Getting into vinyl for the first time Welcome to the vinyl club! It is a thoroughly rewarding pursuit. Ignore the haters and have fun. That is a great cartridge and phono pre pairing, and replacement styli are inexpensive and easy to replace. That particular cartridge allows the li...
Are You a Swifty? She seems genuinely nice and decent. Don't dislike her music necessarily, but I'm mos def with the "cue Joni" crowd.
The Emperor Has No Clothes!! I drive a 2013 Toyota Yaris, I bought it new and it now has 230K miles on it. I hope this doesn't harm my audiophile cred. |
