Question About DACs
Measurements are 100% accurate in predicting sound quality in DACs if you listen to them blind. @mzkmxcv I think you will  have a problem proving that. There are many people hearing differences between dacs, even when listening blind. I have h...
Question About DACs
I couldn't see what the rest of your system is. I would not trust measurements very much for dacs, there are very good sounding dacs that don't measure that well and dacs with good measurements that don't seem to sound that well.Try to find a dac ...
Need DAC/Streaming Advice
@ghulamr you probably want to re-clock as close to the dac as possible, not near the source if you go through another device. puppyt, re-clocking is when a device takes in a digital signal and then sends it out (or to some internal part) but chang...
Gryphon Diablo 300 Integrated or Dartzeel LHC-208 Integrated with PMC Fact 12 Speakers
I have not heard those. I agree with those who suggests the Gryphon based on its higher output that should med your speakers. One other relevant brand I have heard that was good is Devialet.
Dac selections
The Lab12SE has some good reviews, Chord Qutest, Denafrips Pontus.

For ripping that many cd's I would look for special hardware. Maybe there is an audiophile group around that has one?Or you could buy one and then sell it afterwards. These things can RIP 50 discs at a time or more.https://www.alphr.com/realworld/...
MQA is Legit!
I have read from many sources that MQA is or can be much better than red book. I think the more important parts are around licensing, costs, DRM (does not seem to be a problem) and monopoly about an audio technology.
MQA is Legit!
If someone wants to read more about MQA Stereophile has a long Q&A about it.https://www.stereophile.com/content/mqa-questions-and-answersOne interesting part was this:Many recording and mastering engineers have testified that MQA improves very...
Looking for suggestions on best small footprint speaker under $4K
Boenicke W5 is very small. I liked it when I heard it at an audio show and they have some good reviews.http://boenicke-audio.ch/w5_c/
Budget Music Streamer
@jwricci2 Nice find with the Allo!I have just bought a Raspberry Pi with a spdif card and will try to assemble it and try it out with my dac. Cheaper but much more work. Next step for me would either be a better dac or a re-clocker.I don't use Air...
Which area of components to spend the most $ on? Boy I was wrong all my life!
Sometimes I think that if given the financial resources I would by an all-in-one system. Then all pieces should be suitable together. Active speakers have amps that should be selected to work with the drivers, any dac inside should be good enough ...
Are DAC's overpriced?
I think the question about audio products being over-prices are pretty meaningless unless you explain your thinking in more detail. If you don't think you can hear any difference at all between a $100 dac and a $10 000 dac you can just buy the che...
Going to try digital
Wifi is much more practical if you don’t have cables throughout your house or have the router next to the stereo.@audioengr I am glad to hear that you have a solution, if I need one later I will check your site.I don’t have a high-end stereo yet a...
Going to try digital
Regarding ethernet or USB there is at least One more option, using wifi. If the dac has a memory and a reclocker it should be possible to get really good sound with wifi.https://darko.audio/2018/08/ethernet-or-wifi-which-is-better-for-high-end-aud...
Going to try digital
Naim NDX2 seems to be good if you want a streaming solution. You can add Uniti Core for ripping if you need that and don't want to use your computer. They also have ND555 if you want state of the art.NAD M50.2 is often mentioned as a good solution...
